Check battery backups.

  1. Do you have spare batteries for essential appliances around your home, eg:
    1. Smoke alarms
    2. Remote controls for air conditioners, etc
    3. Alarm clocks?
  2. If not, make a note of the battery types and add them to your shopping list.

And you’re done!

Now you won’t get caught without spares in an emergency.
